I am happy to share with you my new "Notting Hill" crochet rug pattern.
The pattern was born while I was traveling in Nothing Hill in London.
I fell in love with little square plaited bins I saw in a little shop, and tried to create something similar using thick yarn.
By using this pattern you can create a beautiful table placements, rugs, etc.
The instructions suits experienced skill level who are familiar with the bellow stitches and techniques:
chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), reverse single crochet (reverse sc), crocheting in a round.
In order to make sure instructions are clear, I attached photo tutorials for specific parts of the project and also a referral to a video tutorial for the new "Nothing Hill" single crochet st in the 1st round.
Product measurements: Diameter – approx. 88 cm / 34.6”
Materials I used:
Approx. 4 kg of non stretchy T Shirt yarn (5 cm / 1.96” width)
Size 11.5 mm crochet hook (although for other projects I will normally use a 10 mm crochet hook for this kind of yarn).
Stitch marker – T Shirt yarn in a different color.
Tapestry needle – to weave in all extra yarn in the WS of the rug.
Regular needle and threads in the T Shirt yarn colors to sew the yarn when needed.
